Each coffee lot we order is tasted several times by Jordan Dabov and our team. Jordan is personally responsible for the green coffee beans selection. He is a professional “cupper” and part of the international Cup of excellence jury team.

IT TAKES YEARS OF ROASTING EXPERIENCE

It is more than just green coffee beans ROASTING Taste and flavour – Fruty or nutty, chocolaty or earthy, it is all highlighted by the roaster. The art of roasting is in fine tuning of the TASTE profile of the coffee. Experience + Experiments + Expertise

Our five-member roasting team has worked with us for a decade. All of them are highly motivated to find the best profile for every coffee. Sample roasting, cup tasting and lab researches are a daily task to everyone in the roastery. We use Probat coffee roasters with the latest roasting technologies. In our facility the roasting is monitored and measured using high-end equipment to ensure the best flavour profile every time. Our roastery can supply up to 1200 tones of roasted coffee yearly.

CHASING PERFECTION

Once or twice per month, Jordan works with the whole team on improving roasting profiles and our team runs monthly roasting trainings for the national coffee industry.

Our coffee lab, coffee creatives and roasters have never stop looking for new ways and techniques to bring something different out of the box in order to please both traditionalists and innovators. We are not ashamed to ask, learn and develop. Chasing perfection could never be achieved otherwise.

CUP OF EXCELLENCE (CoE), held every year in coffee-producing countries, is the only competition to find the highest quality coffees in the world. Since 2013 Jordan Dabov has been one of only a hundred international jury members of the Cup of Excellence and participates every year in competitions worldwide. Being a ‘cupper’ at this highest level gives him the opportunity to discover amazing coffees and to meet some of the most skilled coffee farmers in the world; those who truly care about the quality in your cup.
